Organized by: the International Fund for Agricultural Development

Date and time: 9 November from 4:30–6:00 pm (UK time)

Venue: Virtual

Introduction

The international Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has organised a ShareFair during the COP26 as a platform for IFAD and its grantees to showcase and learn from each other on geospatial tools used for climate and agricultural investments. Conservation International’s (CI) Vital Signs Program was selected as a show case in its partnership in the Resilient Food Systems Program.

Ecosystem resilience is an important ingredient in ensuring Resilient Food systems (RFS) in sub–Saharan Africa. Vital Signs is coordinating the program’s component on monitoring and assessments, and particularly to enhance capacity and provide information to track environmental indicators.
